This sculpture represents the suppression, suffering, and the yearning for a better life that many people experience. Personally, as an immigrant to Canada, I encountered the challenges of adapting to a completely new environment, but I was fortunate to have the support of the Canadian government. This sculpture speaks to the suffering endured by countless nations worldwide
